Three kerbals are on a station.
Right now, Jedidiah, Huddin, and Katdorf Kerman are aboard LSI 1 — the first MSC station to dock cleanly, the first to host a crew, the first running active science. Fourteen kerbals to orbit. Zero lost. The Mun is next.
Four open contracts, three awarded, one paused. The Mun is the next prize and the only contract guaranteed to fly two vehicles before a winner is named.

03 / 04 Program Partners
Four organizations. One program.
MSC writes the contracts and chooses where the rockets go. Our partners build them.
PROGRAM AUTHORITY
NASA
Mission objectives, contract authority, satellite networks. Unlimited operating budget. Doesn't build hardware — but everyone answers to them.
MAJOR · LAUNCH SYSTEMS
KOEING
Built the SLS family. R-SLS2 is now the program's primary crew vehicle — 2/2 missions, abort-equipped, the new safety standard. The cheap reliable answer to MunShot.
MAJOR · STATIONS & HEAVY LIFT
KerbalX
Built LSI 1 — the first MSC station to dock cleanly, after the Basic Station spec failure was corrected. Won SOLARCOM. SH-4 launched the station core. Habitation Module on deck.
EMERGING · SKUNKWORKS
KeedMartin
VAJE engines on SH-4 — their first hardware to reach orbit. LSI Docking Hub under spec re-verification before integration. Outcome decides whether they enter the station program on schedule.
04 / 04 Crew Roster
Fourteen kerbals. Zero losses.
Every kerbal who has flown for MSC has come home. Three are aboard LSI 1 right now. We intend to keep that streak as we extend toward the Mun.

Astronaut Corps.
Recruited from across Kerbin. Trained at MSC's flight school in the lowlands. Fourteen have flown; three are currently aboard LSI 1 conducting the program's first active station science.
MSC-003 docks cleanly with LSI 1 — first crew aboard MSC station
R-SLS2 carried Jedidiah, Huddin, and Katdorf Kerman to a flight-plan-perfect rendezvous. Huddin first aboard. Katdorf activated the science module within hours. "No drama," said the flight director. That is exactly the point.

MSC-002 returns crew safely after Basic Station airlock failure
Valentina Kerman performed an unplanned EVA, deployed a stuck solar panel, and discovered the airlock interface mismatch that ended the Basic Station program. Crew home, vehicle nominal, station decommissioned. KerbalX directed to rebuild.

NASA mandates Launch Abort System as program-wide standard
Following R-SLS2's successful demonstration, every future crewed atmospheric vehicle must meet or exceed the LAS spec. KOEING built it first. MunShot candidates — including KerbalX — must comply.
Following the Basic Station airlock incident, every interface in the station program is being re-checked. KeedMartin's multi-port hub is in review; outcome decides whether their LSI integration slips.
