Rules of engagement
KerbalX must close its onboard crew-control answer for heavy-lift candidates. MunShot inherits the post–MSC-002 rule: every crewed atmospheric stack meets or exceeds the Launch Abort System baseline.

Milestones publish on the mission schedule as NASA locks dates with contractors.
Phase 2 — crewed Mun landing — stays locked until Phase 1 demonstrates crew control beyond low Kerbin orbit.
