HESTIA completed its Duna orbital insertion on the first pass. The 58-day transit from the AWAY burn is complete. All eight crew nominal. Valentina Kerman performed the first EVA in Duna orbit, the kerbal closest to Duna. VESTA remains docked in Duna orbit as a permanent science asset. Return timings to be determined.

Eight kerbals are aboard HESTIA as I write this. The first interplanetary vehicle. The first departure burn. The Mun is behind us. Duna is ahead. LSI 2 relays the signal. We built the tools. We trained the crew. We lost vehicles and learned from every one. Zero crew lost. Still. The number is the programme. The number is fine if nothing else goes wrong.
